Any piece marked as “Editorial” reflects the collective opinion of the Jeffersoncountry editorial board, not individual staff members. It is reviewed by at least two senior editors before publication.
Regional
How is “regional” defined for local updates?
Regional coverage includes municipalities, counties, and districts within a 75-mile radius of our primary office at 2110 Laron Lights. Events outside this radius are considered national or international.
Community
Who can submit community topics?
Any resident, local organization, or verified community group may submit topics for consideration. Submissions must include verifiable sources and contact information. Anonymous submissions are not accepted.
Publications
What is the review process for informational publications?
All publications undergo a three-stage review: factual accuracy check by a subject-matter expert, editorial review for clarity and neutrality, and a final compliance check against our community standards policy.
